Pollet’s Martial Arts has it’s newest Centre in Castle Hill, NSW Australia.  Owned by Sensei’s Jade and Lloyd Thomson, it is an all new fit out and a welcome addition to full time dojo’s.

Castle Hill is located approximately 30 km’s from the heart of Sydney NSW, and is the hub of the Hill’s Shire, (also known as the Hill’s District).   Castle Hill has been established since 1791, only three years after Australia was first settled by Europeans.

Castle Hill is infamous for the Castle Hill convict rebellion which occurred in 1804 when convicts attempted to overthrow the Governor and the military rule.  Despite some 600 convicts being involved, it was thwarted.

The Hills Shire (also known as the Hills District) covers a host of suburbs, including Annangrove, Baulkham Hills, Ermington, Belle Vista, Box Hill, Carlingford, Castle Hill, Cattai, Dural, Glenhaven, Glenorie, Glenhaven, Kellyville, Kenthurst, Leets Vale, Lower Portland, Maraylya, Moorta, Middle Dural, Nelson, Northmead, North Rocks, Oatlands, Rouse Hill, Sackville North, South Moorta, West Pennant Hills and Wiseman’s Ferry.

Considered by many to the amongst the best places to live within the greater Sydney area, it is a fitting place for the prestigious new Dojo.  The Hills Shire is home to nearly 170,000 people.

As with all Pollet’s Martial Arts centres, the dojo provides training in Karate, Jiu Jitsu (also known as Ju Jutsu), Muay Thai (Kickboxing), Weapons training (Kobujustu), Boxing, and MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) training.

Sensei Jade is an accomplished many times Australian & International Champion in Muay Thai, and Sensei Lloyd is a permanent corner man assisting Hanshi Ian Pollet with his many professional and amateur fighters.  He has travelled with Hanshi Ian Pollet across Australian and the world to train and corner fighters.
